Vitamin C oxidises easily when exposed to light, heat and air. 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a more stable derivative that penetrates the skin before gradually converting into active Vitamin C, helping reduce the formation of dark spots, even out skin tone, and stimulate collagen synthesis for a firmer, more radiant look. Ferulic Acid plays a supporting role, it does not cause flaking or irritation, reinforces the antioxidant action of Vitamin C, and helps slow visible signs of ageing while fading existing dark spots.
